Is Hull the worst place to live?

Hull has done it again for another year as the city scoops the accolade for being one of the "worst places to live" , according to a residents' poll. Results from the annual ILiveHere survey are in, and it's not great news for Hull residents.

According to MoneySuperMarket, out of 35 cities surveyed, Hull was ranked 34th in a list of the best places for young families , just behind the capital London. The announcement has understandably had people up in arms and many have leapt to defend Hull on Facebook in a show of solidarity with their city.

Streets like Ashcombe Road, Elvaston Park and Chevening Park are in the least deprived area of the city . The area off Anlaby Park Road North includes Norland Avenue, The Greenway and Woodland End. The Sutton Road end of the Stoneferry area of east Hull with streets like Hathersage Road, Thamesbrook and Woodleigh Drive.
